چکیده
Microplastic pollution is widespread around the world and inevitably comes into contact with organisms. With accumulation of microplastics in environment, negative impact on organisms has become main focus field microplastics. In this study, different particle concentration effects fluorescent polystyrene (PS-MPs) Nostocaceae Daphnia Magna were researched. The results indicate that PS-MPs adhered to through static electricity, which hindered absorption photons CO2 by Nostocaceae, resulting a decrease chlorophyll, low growth rate high mortality for Nostocaceae. very small particles may be integrated blood Magna, leading an increasing trend spawning rate. research provides basic data reference effect freshwater implications further study

A comparison between the effects of polylactic acid and polystyrene microplastics on Daphnia magna
The effects of microplastics on zooplankton are an increasing environmental concern. Both primary microplastics that are produced as constituents of cosmetic products, as well as secondary microplastics that are formed by degradation of larger plastic debris, are ubiquitous in aquatic environments. Today, primary microplastics are being phased out and replaced by plant-derived bioplastics. Whet...

The cellular architecture of the Daphnia compound eye visual system was studied by using computer-aided techniques. All the neurons in one half of the bilaterally symmetric optic ganglion (OG) were reconstructed in three dimensions from serial electron micrographs. The techniques employed were those developed by Levinthal and collaborators (Macagno, Levinthal, and Sobel, Ann. Rev. Biophys. Bioe...

This study was carried out in a completely randomized design 3×3×4 factorial arrangement in three periods of rearing in spring 1997. Density of 300 larvae was assigned for each oval tank with 0.1m2 surface area, 30cm deep, a volume of 20lit and 0.25 lit/min of water flow per minute at Shahid Rajaie fish breeding and culture center in Sari, north of Iran. The fries were divided into ...

متن کاملTransgenerational effects of microcystin-LR on Daphnia magna.
Anthropogenic and climate factors increase the frequency of problematic cyanobacterial blooms in freshwater. Among other toxins, some cyanobacteria produce microcystins (MCs), which inhibit phosphatases type 1 and type 2A and provokes oxidative stress. Toxic cyanobacteria affect the growth, survival and reproduction of zooplankton, particularly those from the genus Daphnia, which have a central...
